Art and its Power
Art isn’t just painting. It’s many things. From pieces and writing of fact and science. To the writing of dystopia, fantasy; fiction, the breathtaking pictures of theatre and TV, and wonderful melodies of instruments played by musicians.

Art includes the works of architects and even athletes. Art is anything that came from the expression of human minds. Anything that inspires, and grasps people from the other side of the world to act upon what they saw, or felt, and even smelt.
The expression of art is a very powerful component that can be used for as much positive as negative. It’s like the feeling when you listen to your favourite song and the artist has implemented their mindset to you - it can make you feel sad, happy, or even able to change the world. Art is so strong and filled with emotion that it can affect many people, this makes art the tool for change.
Art has the ability to potentially eliminate racism, sexism, prejudiced beliefs, and many others. It distinguishes minds from their own societies and transforms them to have better complemented and improved mindsets on the problem you are inspiring them to change through your unique and beautiful talent.
“One glance at a book and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for 1,000 years. To read is to voyage through time.” - Carl Sagan
“The pen is mightier than the sword.” - Edward Bulwer
“A picture is a poem without words.” - Horace
“In a decaying society, art, if it is truthful, must also reflect decay. And unless it wants to break faith with its social function, art must show the world as changeable. And help to change it.” - Ernst Fischer
The Smart Revolution
The literal meaning of Revolution is…
“a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favour of a new system, way of life, change of social structure, or substitution of beliefs.”
Revolution is a positive thing that happens within our society when people need change.
We need Revolution. We need the turnaround of civilisations. We also need to ensure the safety of innocents. This fact can’t always be promised.
People and groups use the method of creating a revolution to change things in their favour to overall create a better society or way of life in their own eyes.
Although creating a revolution is sometimes the only way to change a way of doing things to overall have a good outcome - this good outcome is in some cases found through violence - which then takes us back to the literal meaning of a revolution.
Many people resort to a violent revolution when in a desperate measure, likely because they’re being harmed or treated wrongly within their society.
This may seem reasonable if they’re mistreated, but to win the favour of others to join your revolution this method is not successful - in addition to the fact that it can cause more harm than good.
Revolutions have in the past had the propensity to turn violent for reasons of necessity. But now, we can still capture the spirit of a revolution without the violence that can harm innocents. Therefore a violent revolution isn’t the only way to approach injustice.
Nowadays we humans are far from our original caveman state. Our brains are much more evolved than they were - they have literally almost quadrupled in size - because of this we need to put our advantage to use more than ever before and push ourselves mentally to equate and come up with smarter and alternative actions to injustice. A way to resolve injustice, and toxic societies the smart way is simple; it may not be as rapid as a violent approach, but it can result in less violence and suffering.
It’s called a Bloodless Coup; A Peaceful Revolution; or A Smart Revolution.
This is the future of making beneficial and significant changes in our world, not just in terms of social injustice but in convincing people to consider the effects of Global Warming, as well as many other environmental and natural disasters.
Leaving a Legacy of Expression
Now that we understand the significance of art and expression, we need to understand the significance of us. We can unlock the minds of others with our various different ways of expressing ourselves. You might create something that will catch the attention of the future, you can leave a legacy.
This is an important component in taking advantage of our expressions and opinions.
Whether you want social equality or the protection of endangered animals, the way to do it is to be noticed. You need to leave a legacy of expression. Create the spark for your smart revolution. Create it with art.
“You have to find what sparks a light in you so that you in your own way can illuminate the world.” - Oprah Winfrey
